James L. Wingard

Jim was born April 2, 1958, in Warren, the son of the late H. James Wingard, and Delsie Weaver Wingard, who survives. Jim was a lifelong area resident , and a 1976 graduate of the Warren Area High School.

Following High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp, from which he retired after twenty years of service, and was very proud of his service in the Marines. Jim was a self employed contractor and tile mason in North Carolina for several years, returnng to Warren. He was most recently employed at Blue Stem Corp in the Irvine Distribution facility. He enjoyed many things, including home improvement projects, classic rock, football, and basketball. He also enjoyed trips to the casino, working around the house, and his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife, family, and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Darlene Turner Wingard whom he married in 2009, a daughter, Elizabeth Wingard of Tacoma WA; one step son, Chad Turner of Raliegh, NC; two brothers, Clifford Wingard of Warren, and Donnie Wingard and wife Lisa of Dubois, PA; one sister, Patty Lyons and husband Steve of Sheffield , PA; two grandchilidren, Genevive Wingard of Tacoma, WA and Alexandria Elder and husband Justin, also of Tacoma; and many nieces and nephews aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held and announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
