18-year-old escapee jailed on $25,000 bond

An 18-year-old from Tionesta is behind bars after escaping from a Tionesta treatment facility.

Marienville-based Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement Wednesday morning that they were notified at 10:32 a.m. on Tuesday that Brendon Shealey, 18, Tionesta, had escaped from Taylor Diversion.

That is a residential, independent living program for at-risk youth.

“After an extensive search, Shealey was located and arrested and charged for escape, theft and disorderly conduct,” troopers said.

State police said Shealey was arraigned by District Justice Todd Woodin “and placed in the Warren County Jail on $25,000 cash bond.”
