DUDLEY E. DANIELSON, age 83, of Oxford, PA, formerly of Lancaster, PA and Clayton, NY, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019, at Ware Presbyterian Village. He was the husband of Diane Ruth Danielson, with whom he shared 10 years of marriage.
Born in North Chili, NY, he was the son of the late Guy Danielson and the late Grace Hendrickson Danielson.
Dudley was a 1952 graduate of Warren High School, Warren, PA, and he attended Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, NY. He joined the U.S. Army in December,1953, and served most of his 4 years at Camo Zama, Japan, assigned to the 96th MRU.
While living in Kailua, Hawaii in the 1960’s he began a career as an excellent professional photographer, continuing in Carthage, NY as Dudley’s Photography. He also published a summer newspaper, “Relax! In The 1000 Islands”, had a radio show “Joy in the Morning” from 1979 to 1984, with additional programs added along the way. A man of words, he compiled 9 books. In his life he tried to make a difference for the Lord.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Howe of Buffalo, NY, Steven Robbins of Albuquerque, NM and Eric Robbins of Albuquerque, NM; four daughters, Kirsten LeVier (Thomas) of Severn, MD, DoriAnn Miles (Scott) Limerick, PA, Melissa Lynn (Richard) of Black Lake, NY and Carrie Lynn Hull of Phoenix, AZ ; one brother, Frederick W. Danielson of Seaford, DE; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
You are invited to his Home Going Celebration at 12:30, Monday afternoon, February 11, 2019, at the auditorium in Vista Ridge at Ware Presbyterian Village, 7 E. Locust Street, Oxford, PA. Burial will be held privately.
