Laureen Israel

She was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, received her Associate Degree from JBC, and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree. She was a retired employee from Warren State Hospital, North Warren, Pennsylvania.

She was a member of Lee Hall Baptist Church in Newport News, VA. Laureen was a lifelong learner, she loved music, to travel, read, enjoyed history, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; several aunts and uncles; as well as her soninlaw, Scott Perry.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Israel; her sons, Andrew Button and his wife, Samantha, Adam Button and his wife, Shannon Perry; her daughters, Kari Perry and Liza Buckingham and her husband, James Jr; her parents, Agnes and Roger McFarland; her siblings, Bill McFarland, Tim McFarland and Gordon McFarland; and her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Perry, Karah Perry, Dalton Perry, Taylor Button, Dominic Button, Erin Button, Emma Button, Abigail Button, Piper Button and Lillian Crape; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other loved ones.

Anyone wishing to honor her memory may make donations to the family or Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel.
