Bernice Doverspike
Bernice Clare Doverspike. 95, 400 S. Main Street Sheffield, died Tuesday December 22, 2018 at the Rouse Warren County Home. Bernice was born April 19, 1923 in Clarion County the daughter of the late Walter and Ella Carberry Reed. She graduated from Limestone High school and married her husband of 78 years, Dewey Doverspike in Oak Ridge, Pa. September 24, 1941. They moved to Sheffield in 1956. Bernice was a member of the Barnes United Methodist Church and was employed as a clerk at the Quality Markets.
She was preceded in death , in addition to her parents by 2 sons Dewey Doverspike and Robert Doverspike, 3 brothers , Tom Reed, Edgar Reed and James Reed, 1 sister Helen Brandt and a granddaughter Renee Lee Doverspike.
She is survived by her husband Dewey Doverspike, a son Gerald E. Doverspike, 5 Grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great Grandchildren, 3 brother s Joseph Reed Templeton Pa. ,Paul Reed Findley, Ohio, and Robert Reed, Tidioute Pa. Several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. The family suggests memorial donations to the Sheffield Fire Department Ambulance Fund. Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Borden Funeral Home in Sheffield is entrusted with the arrangements.
