Theresa Kifer

Theresa was born November 27, 1948 in Union City, PA, the daughter of the late Patrick and the Anne (Tomcho) Fifer. She was a graduate of Wattsburg Area High School, and a graduate of the St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she also attended the Gannon University, earning a B.S. in Nursing Administration. She was employed at the Warren General Hospital, and the Warren State Hospital for many years, from which she retired.

Theresa was a faithful member of the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, where she was involved in many of the activities. Theresa enjoyed gardening, travel with her husband, and especially enjoyed family.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle A. Connacher of Sheffield; a son Michael D. Kifer of Warren; a grandson; Patrick Connacher, currently serving in the U.S. Navy; a sister, Mary Ann Shinko, of Union City; and two brothers, John Fifer, and Patrick Fifer and his wife Mary, also of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death on November 22, 2017 by her husband David E. Kifer, whom she married on October 23, 1971.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 11 Russell Street, Warren, PA, with Fr. Jim Gutting, pastor, officiating.
