Janet Miles

She was born February 12, 1972 in Warren, PA, a daughter to her adoptive parents, Kent and Lorraine (Stewart) Thompson whom survive her of Erie, PA. Janet was a friend to everyone; nobody was a stranger in her eyes. She was incredibly gullible, smiled easily and always very lively and fun loving. Janet absolutely loved music, enjoyed animals and the outdoors, had a strong faith and had much love for her children.

In addition to her adoptive parents, she is survived by her children, Teresa Rounds of Butler, PA, Morgan Rounds and Toby Rounds both of Titusville, PA and Sonya Onink of Oak Grove, KY; a grandson, Wyatt Hogan of Butler, PA; her siblings, Cathy Rounds, Sharon Boyles, Debra MicGrail, Tom, William and Ronald Powers; her adopted siblings, Jane (Lynn) Johnson of Erie, PA, Brent (Alma) Thompson of Columbus, OH, Stewart (Tammy) Thompson of Brocton, NY, Rick (Wyvonnia) Thompson of Warren, PA and John (Samantha) Thompson of Stillwater, OK; Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a special recognition to Doug and Celia Thompson.

Janet was preceded in death by her biological parents, Mr. & Mrs. Powers, a sister, Brenda Powers and a brother, Jerry Powers.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 1, at 6:00pm at the Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, 210 Jamestown, St. Sugar Grove, PA 16350. Burial will be held at a later date in the Cherry Hill cemetery in Sugar Grove.
