Rodney Haight

Rodney Laverne Haight passed away in Bend, Oregon on March 31 after a brief illness at the age of 84. Born in Youngsville, PA he blazed a trail to the pacific northwest after 4 years in the Air Force. He retired from the US Postal Service in Portland, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas & Lua Haight, his beloved wife Beryl, brother Norman, and sister Carolyn. He is survived by 2 brothers Elmer of Youngsville and Dallas of Erie, 3 stepchildren Kathy (Bob) Lite, John (Charmain) Merz, Jeanne ( Mark) Strandholm; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He loved baseball and started the Hot Stove League in Youngsville. He enjoyed carpentry, hot rods, camping and hunting. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him from Warren, Pa. and Oregon.
