Rita Cox

She was born December 24, 1935 in Brookston to the late John and Irene (Leichtenberger) Zock. She had worked at Automatic Vendor Services in Erie for some time. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Warren, was an avid bridge player and loved to travel. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 6 children: Karen Patch of Lakeview, NY; Andrew (Rose) Patch of Denver, CO; Kathy (Dee) Marlin of Athens, AL; Chris (Reggie) Vogts of Wichita, KS; Michael Patch of Foley, AL; Jeffrey Patch of Conifer, CO; 4 Step-children; a sister Jo Ann (Marlin) Cobb of Murrells Inlet, SC; a brother, Steve (Jean) Zock of Youngsville; 2 sisters-in-law, Roxie Zock and Mary Lu Zock, of Youngsville; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and an Uncle

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband Howard “Sonny” Patch; her second husband, Charles Cox; and 2 brother’s: Ron and John Zock.

A memorial service will be held on May 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Warren, officiated by Pastor Jeff Ewing, with lunch to follow.
