John Farrell
John M. Farrell, 90, of Zionsville, passed away on March 18, 2018. He was born on February 9, 1928 in Warren, Pennsylvania to the late John M. and Olive (Hultberg) Farrell.
John graduated from Warren Senior High School in Pennsylvania. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He attained a B.S. Degree from Bradley University in Industrial Arts with Architecture major. John was on the Federation of Scholars and a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity in which he was the President in his final year.
John was a Construction Manager of Industrial Insulation for Johns Manville for 25 years. In 1974 he formed his own company, J.M. Farrell Company, Inc. which employed 25 employees. In 2009 he retired and sold the company to his son.
John is survived by his son, Daniel R. (wife, Marie) Farrell of Zionsville, and daughter, Renna L. Howell of Zionsville along with 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian (Prewett) Farrell.
Services will be on Saturday at Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Rd., Zionsville, IN 46077 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church with the service following.
