Elizabeth Sleeman

Anne was born Dec. 16, 1943 to the late Everett and Dora Collawn Carter. Anne graduated for Caroline High School in 1962, then attended Radford University. In 1965 while working at Fort A.P. Hill, she met and later married John Sleeman. A caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and sister in law.

Her family was the most important of Anne’s life, but her most enjoyment was her four grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 51 years John Sleeman Beaverdam Va ; son, Greg Sleeman and his son Christopher Unionville Pa; daughter, Lori Matulevich and her husband, Jonathan and their 3 children, Tyler, Hannah, Ella St.John Fl; son, Jeff Sleeman of Sheffield, Pa.; five siblings Dorothy Carter Stevens and her husband Wayne, Everett (Jr.) Carter and his companion Becky Richet, David Carter and his wife Judy, Linda Carter Wax and her husband Ricky, Michael Carter and his companion, Dianne Burgess all of Woodford Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for the Celebration of Life will be held at 48pm Friday, May 26th at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Also a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Sheffield Pa.
