Russell Grosch

Russell Gail Grosch, 78,

formerly of Clarendon,

passed away peacefully, sur-

rounded by his family, on

Saturday, February 25, 2017

at Warren Manor.

Russell was born May 9,

1938 in Warren, PA. He is

the son of the late Norman

and Bertha Fladry Grosch.

A lifelong resident, and a

1956 graduate of Warren

High School, Russell was

employed at Anderson’s

Shurfine Market on

Warren’s East Side for more

than thirty five years, from

which he retired. He was a

Thirty Second Degree Ma-

son, a member of the Farah

Grotto, and the Tiona United

Methodist Church. Russell

enjoyed NASCAR Racing,

playing cards, and spending

time with family, especially

his grandchildren.

He is survived by one

daughter Debra Church, and

her husband Todd, of

Russell, PA; two sons, Dar-

ren Grosch, and his wife

Sharon, of Glenside, PA, and

Gail Grosch, and his wife

Jennifer, of Warren, PA; one

brother, Karl Grosch, and his

wife Peggy, of Warren, PA;

seven grandchildren, Ashley

Church Crocker; Bradley

Church; Jeremy Grosch; Na-

talie Grosch; Emily Grosch;

Isabelle Grosch; and Andrew

Grosch; one great grandson,

Gage Crocker; and many

nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents,

he was preceded in death on

December 23, 2015, by his

wife, Carolyn Garber

Grosch, whom he married on

November 30, 1963; and

five brothers, Milton Grosch,

Harold Grosch, Donald

Grosch, Kenneth Grosch,

and Richard Grosch.

Friends will be received

at the Peterson-Blick Funeral

Home, Inc. 1003 Penn Ave.,

E., Warren, PA, on Monday,

February 27, from 5 to 8

pm., and for one hour prior

to a funeral service to be

held at the funeral home on

Tuesday, February 28, at 11

am, with Rev. Martin Rey-

nolds, officiating. Members

of North Star Lodge #241,

Free and Accepted Masons,

will conduct a funeral rite on

Monday, Feb. 27 at 7:45

p.m.

Burial will be in Pine

Grove Cemetery, Russell.
