Ronald Irvine

Ronald E. Irvine Jr., 60, of Scottsdale, Arizona died Thursday, January 19, 2017. Ron was born December 25, 1956 in Monterey, CA. He was the son of the late Ronald E. Irvine Sr. and Jeannette (Irvine) Van Scooter.

Ron served in the US Army as a Medical NCO for 7 years and a Clinical Specialist for 9 years from 1978 to 1988. After leaving the military he worked as an EMT in the state of Washington and later moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2002 to attend school and became a certified Massage Therapist. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and BPOE.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Mary (Sticha) Irvine of Tacoma Washington and second wife Jenny (Hofer) Irvine, sisters Bonnie Tami and husband Terry of PA, Debbie Irvine NY, Nickie Ardizzone AZ. His two children Ronald E. Irvine III of Phoenix, AZ and Michelle Irvine of Tacoma and grandson Anthony Blackman and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brother Kerry Irvine and nephew Nathaniel Tami.

Memorial services will be held for family and friends at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 North Cave Creek Road Phoenix, AZ  85024 on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Directly following the memorial service a Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion 16837 E. Parkview Ave, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.

Flowers can be sent to the National Memorial Cemetery in his name with the time of 1:30 pm.
