John Stangler

John Francis Stangler passed away December 11, 2016 in Evergreen, Colorado. John was born in Olean, NY, on July 14, 1954, the youngest son of Frank A Stangler and June Gregersen Stangler. He graduated from high school in Mt Vernon, Ohio, and moved west. John worked at Australian Outback Collection in Evergreen prior to establishing Shadow Mountain Sales.  He was a regular vendor at the National Stock Show and Cheyenne Frontier Days.  John loved hiking and camping in the mountains and was a passionate Ohio State fan. In addition to his family of friends in the Evergreen and Conifer area of Colorado, John is survived by his mother June Stangler of Russell, Pennsylvania; his brother Thomas Stangler of Suffolk, Virginia, sister Sandy Pope of Somers, New York, and many nieces and nephews.
