Marcia Colvin

Marcia J. Colvin, 73, of Warren, died peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2016, surrounded by her family.  Marcia was born January 26, 1943, in Warren. She is the daughter of the late Robert M. and Jeanne (Kirscht) Brown.

Marcia was a graduate of Warren High School.  For over 25 years, Marcia worked for the Blair Corporation, from which she retired.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Warren, where she served on the Board of Deacons and taught Sunday school for the nurseryage children.  Above all else, Marcia was a loving mother and grandmother, who always put others before herself.

She is survived by four children, John “JR” Colvin, Stephen Colvin, and wife, Mindy, David Colvin, and wife, Holly, and Christopher Colvin; her former husband, John A. Colvin, whom she remained close with throughout the years; ten grandchildren, Erin Eastman, Aimee Colvin, Carlie Colvin, Laci Meneo, Mackenzie Check, Noah Colvin, Nathan, Alexis, Hannah, and Laura Colvin; four greatgrandchildren, Eli Eastman, Atticus Sullivan, Rylan and Alex Meneo; four siblings, Ralph Brown, and wife, Donna, Denny Brown, Shirley Blair, and husband, Bob, and Bill Brown, and wife, Linda; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
