Beverly Littlefield

Beverly J. (Taft) Littlefield, 80, of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, formerly of 755 Harrington Rd., Frewsburg, died, Tuesday Nov. 15, 2016 at her residence.

She was born November 22, 1935 in Warren, PA, the daughter of Walter and Vera Hoffman Taft.

Beverly was a 1954 graduate of Warren High School and Heidelberg College in Tiffin, OH.

Before retiring she had been employed as a bookkeeper for Overhead Door and prior to that at Kennedy Tractor and Zahm & Matson.

God blessed her with a musical gift that she used to glorify Him through teaching children and adult church choirs, VBS, and Christmas programs. She shared her beautiful voice with others in celebrations and in sorrows.

She was always there to support her children and grandchildren in all their events in life. God’s light shone through her for everyone to see and love. Beverly loved being surrounded by friends and family.

She was a member of the Clarks Corners Community Church, the Mozart Club, and the Ivory Cemetery Society.

Beverly is survived by her husband, George H. Littlefield whom she married September 8, 1956 in Warren, six children: Linnea( Andy) Phillips of Bon Aqua, TN, Gene (Debbe) Littlefield of Jamestown, Janis (Jamie) Johnson of Stratford, IA, Yvonne (Dave) Himes of Frewsburg, Kathleen (Bob) Black of Kennedy, Clarice (Stu) Wilkinson of East Syracuse; her grandchildren: Rachel (CJ) Lockhart, Joel (Tatiana) Phillips, Ethan (Devin) Phillips, Ashlee (Dean) Buchanan, Jesse (Lisa) Phillips, Eli, Hannah, and Abigail Phillips, Mathew (Amber) Littlefield, Travis (Shelby) Littlefield, Rylee Littlefield, Jacob (Lauren) Johnson, Elizabeth (Joseph) Bailey, John, Victoria, Susan, and Joseph Johnson, Samantha (Mike) Ulrich, Shawn and Shelby Himes, Jessica (Ken) Platt, Jennifer (Stephen) Burton, Zachary (Khrista) Black, Aaron (Chelsea) Wilkinson, and Briana and Caleb Wilkinson, two step grandsons, Ron and Jeremy Fish, one step granddaughter, Heather Ball; fifteen greatgrandchildren, a sister: Kay Gray of Warren, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and a granddaughter, Anna Beth Kapusinski.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Clarks Corners Community Church, 1 Gospel Lane, Kennedy, NY.

The Rev. Venman, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Ivory Cemetery, Frewsburg, NY.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg, NY and one hour prior to service on Saturday at Clarks Corners Community Church.
