A lover of art, you would often find Al listening to classical music and working on one of his many projects. Painting, drawing, photography, pottery, and stamp collecting were a few of his favorites. He was a naturalist and had a quiet appreciation for the beauty of nature and all living things around him. He loved walks in the woods, gardening and growing beautiful plants and flowers.
Vacations with his wife were an adventure and included exploring the rain forests of Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Belize, snorkeling in Panama, photographing rock art in Utah with Earthwatch and researching genealogy in England, Wales and Scotland while visiting many landmarks.
Al’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and his presence will be missed.
The Crowder Funeral Home, League City, Texas is in charge of arrangements. A Celebration of Life in Warren will be scheduled at a future time. Memorial contributions may be given to the Warren Public Library.
