A funeral service for Lynn Schwab VanGuilder, 60, of Youngsville, who died Sunday, July 3, at the Corry Memorial Hospital, was held Saturday, July 9 at 1pm at the Nelson Funeral Service & Cremation Services in Youngsville, the pastor Al Conklin officiated.

Lynn Schwab VanGuilder, 60, of Youngsville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 3, 2016 at the Corry Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 21, 1955 in Warren, PA, a daughter to the late Leroy “Bud” and Jane (Monroe) Schwab. Lynn worked at the New Process for over 25 years and also at the Blue Eye Inn as a bartender. Most recently, she was the receptionist at Styles Unlimited in Warren. Lynn was a member of the Garland fire hall auxiliary and volunteered at Love INC in Youngsville. She enjoyed riding her bike, watching NASCAR, sitting on her deck and was notorious for her PB nobakes. Lynn loved photography, she was always taking pictures. She also loved dogs, especially her own, Kinder and Harley. Lynn treasured her family. Her nephews were like her sons and her great nieces and nephews were like her grandchildren. She was always so generous; always baking desserts, cooking meals, lending a hand or giving a hug to anybody in need. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” VanGuilder, whom she married April 21, 1990 at the Interfaith Chapel in Warren; her sister, Cathy (Joe) Wills of Arcadia, FL; two nephews, Cayle (Barbara) Wills of Punta Gorda, FL and Chad (Christy) Wills of Warren; two greatnieces, Madison Wills of Port Charlotte, FL and Katelyn Wills of Punta Gorda, FL; two greatnephews, Trenton and Trevor Wills, both of Warren; her motherinlaw,Alice VanGuilder of Torpedo and also her best friend, Debby Gorton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fatherinlaw, Marshal VanGuilder.
Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville from 10am 1pm at which time a funeral service will take place with the pastor, Al Conklin, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Paws Along the River Humane Society, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365 or to the Garland Volunteer Fire Department, 31 Bailey Lane, Garland, PA 16416.
