Richard Lyle

Rick was born on April 2, 1951, in Ridgway, Pennsylvania, the son of Richard and Willa (Amacher) Lyle. He grew up and attended school in Warren, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Warren High School.

Richard was united in Holy Matrimony to Susan Haller on February 21, 1987, in Elwood City, Pennsylvania. He attended college in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Richard worked as a machinist as both an operator and Supervisor at machine shops.

Rick enjoyed the outdoors, as well as hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and gun smithing.

Richard is survived by his loving wife: Susan Lyle of Bellville; daughters: Abby Travis and her husband, Aaron, of Massillon, Ohio and Sydney Eaton and her husband, Robert, of Columbus, Texas; son: Duncan Lyle and his wife, Stephanie, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Kacey, Lillie, Amelia, and Bennett. Rick was also survived by his brothers: Terry Lyle and his wife, Dorothy, of Jamestown, New York, Steve Lyle and his wife Karen of Russell, Pennsylvania, David Lyle of Orlando, Florida; sisters: Marcia McKown and her husband, John, of Warren, Pennsylvania, Nancy Lyle and her significant other, Laura, of Youngsville, Pennsylvania; and sisterinlaw: Leann Clark of Orlando, Florida.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Willa Lyle and his daughter, Bethany Lyle.

A Memorial Service was held at the United Methodist Church in Brookshire, Texas, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 7:00 P.M.
