She was born January 27, 1927 in Warren, Pa. a daughter to the late Palmer L. and Katherine (Toohterman) Davis Sr. Mary had worked as a secretary for the US Forest Service and Oakland Cemetery for many years. She enjoyed crafts, baking, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by a son, Gregg Christensen of McKinney, TX, a sisterinlaw, Pricilla Spencer of Chandlers Valley, and 2 grandchildren, Seneca and Benjamin Christensen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Christensen, her second husband Donald P. Spencer Jr. and a brother Palmer Davis Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. in Youngsville, with the Rev. Fr. Matthew Scott, pastor of Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church in Warren, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
