Ruth Kestler
Ruth A. Kestler, age 86, a former Warren resident, passed peacefully sur-rounded by loving family and friends on September 8 in San Antonio, TX, follow-ing a brief unexpected ill-ness.
Born in Hornell, NY, on May 29, 1928, Ruth was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Helen E. (Field) Davis, both teach-ers. During much of her youth, she lived in Brod-headsville, PA.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Lee Anne, wife of Dr. Bernard Reams of San Antonio, TX; her son, Joseph Kestler, Jr. of Pen-sacola, FL; and four grandchildren: Kelly Kestler, Kathrin Oberhofer, Johanna Oberhofer, and Michael Kestler. She was predeceased by her former husband, Joseph Kestler, Sr.; her sister, Margaret Rehrig; and her brother, Stewart Davis.
Family and friends are invited to a casual memori-al service and celebration of Ruth’s life to be held in the North Warren Pres-byterian Church basement on Saturday October 18, 2014, at 12:00 p.m.
