Possession of drug paraphrenalia. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 26 at 3:04 a.m., they came into contact with Cory Ganoe, 26, of Warren, near Rt. 6 and Preston Rd. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending with District Judge Laura Bauer’s office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police report a suspect’s dark blue Ford F-150 pick-up truck was observed parked at the front door of a Market St. residence at 3 p.m. on Dec. 29. According to police, the front door lock had been picked and the unknown individual gained entry into the residence. No items were reported missing. Grand Valley
Warrant arrest. Warren County Sheriffs Deputies and reported arresting John Esh, 38, at his residence at 2406 Selkirk Rd., Grand Valley, on a supervisory warrant issued by Warren County Adult Probation on a charge of failure to comply with order of support. Esh was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action. Sheriffs deputies were assisted in the arrest by adult probation.
Tidioute
Theft. Tidioute Borough Police report investigating and incident of theft which occurred at approximately 2:24 a.m. on Dec. 8. According to police, a white male in his late teens or early twenties used a key to gain entry into a pop machine. Police allege the suspect is responsible for similar pop machine thefts which occurred on Dec. 20 and are investigating surveillance video in an attempt to identify the suspect. According to police, the suspect was a passenger in a dark colored Hummer H4 during the Dec. 20 incident.
Conewango Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police reported an incident of DUI which occurred at approximately 12:54 p.m. on Dec. 25 on Route 6. According to police, Timothy A McMillen II, 25, Warren, was observed driving erratically and stopped by police. McMillen was found to be driving under the influence and in possession of drugs and associated paraphernalia. Charges of DUI/Act 64 (drugs) and five summary traffic violations were filed with District Judge Laura Bauers office.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police said between Dec. 22 and 25, someone spray painted graffiti on the back of the St. John’s Lutheran Church. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police said on Dec. 26, at 3 p.m. Susan Hoffer, 36, Erie, was traveling west on Route 6 near the intersection with Miles Run Road. Hoffer lost control of her Toyota Corolla on the snow-covered roadway while negotiating a right hand curve. Police said Hoffer’s vehicle traveled across the eastbound lane of travel and struck a ditch on the south side of the roadway, causing the vehicle to spin counterclockwise and strike a roadway traffic sign before coming to a stop facing eastbound. Hoffer’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Leroy’s Towing. No injuries were reported. Hoffer was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed police said.

Warren
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 17 at 8:04 p.m. Donald Lee Sturdevant, 57, Warren, was arrested for DUI after being stopped for making a right turn on red where it was posted no turn on red at the intersection of Hickory Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Charges were filed through District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.
Brokenstraw Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 6, west of Thatchers Lane, on Dec. 17 at 10:20 a.m. A 2002 Kia Rio driven by Karlheinz Carnahan, Pittsfield, was stopped in the eastbound lane of travel, waiting for a vehicle in front of him to make a left-hand turn. A 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Robert Gaughan, Meadville, was traveling east behind Carnahan and failed to come to a stop. Gaughan’s vehicle struck Carnahan’s vehicle in the rear, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Both units were driven from the scene. Carnahan reported a minor injury as a report of the crash. Gaughan was not injured, but was cited for following too closely.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a four-vehicle accident on Route 6, east of Abraham Hollow Road, on Dec. 17 at 6:25 a.m. Police said that the crash occurred as a vehicle, no driver identified, was stopped in the westbound lane waiting to make a left-hand turn. A 2013 Chevrolet, driven by Dale Loren, 66, Rocky Mount, N.C., was traveling behind the vehicle and was unable to slow due to snow-covered roadways. Police said Loren attempted to avoid the other vehicle by swerving to his right but clipped the rear of the other vehicle. Loren’s vehicle then left the roadway coming to rest off the roadway. A 2013 Peterbilt Conventional 389, driven by Gregory Bauer, 52, Shippenville, Pa., was traveling directly behind Loren’s vehicle and came to a near stop in the westbound lane due to slow traffic when a 1995 vehicle, model not listed, driven by John Monn, 60, Clarendon, read-ended Bauer’s vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene. Garland and Youngsville volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene. Police said Loren and Monn were both cited for following too closely through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
Conewango Twp.
Hit and run. Conewango Township Police responded to a reported hit and run accident at 707 Follett Run Rd. at 12:18 p.m. Dec. 24. According to police, Mark Bednar was traveling west on Follett Run Rd. when his vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling east. Bednar’s vehicle received damage to the driver’s side mirror. Police report the second vehicle was a Chevrolet pick-up, dark red/maroon in color and has possible damage to the driver’s side and mirror. Farmington Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 23 at 4:55 p.m., Linda Marquis, 65, Warren, was traveling west on Route 957 just west on Townline Road when she lost control negotiating a left-hand curve. The vehicle slid counter-clockwise and off the eastern berm before making hitting the embankment and rolling onto its driver’s side. Police report no one was injured in the accident. Marquis was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
Glade Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Page Hollow Road on Dec. 15 at 6:45 p.m. A 2013 Honda Civic, driven by Katie Kibbey, Warren, became stuck while traveling north. Kibbey, who had been driving the vehicle, placed the vehicle in neutral and exited the car. According to police, she stood by the driver side door and attempted to push the vehicle uphill. The vehicle rolled backwards injuring Kibbey on her right side before continuing to roll backwards down the hill for approximately 100 feet before hitting a mailbox. Police said the vehicle proceeded to roll another 30 feet backwards across a driveway and into a ditch. The left side and rear of the vehicle made struck a northbound ditch before coming to rest. Kibbey sustained moderate injuries in the accident. Police said she was cited for careless driving and was arrested for DUI.
PFA violation. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 8 at 5:50 p.m. they arrested Thomas A. Jewell, 52, Lawn Avenue, for violating a protection from abuse order. Police said Jewell contacted the protected person, a known adult female, several times via text message after the order had been served. Jewell was arraigned for District Justice Laura Bauer and released on $20,000 unsecured bail.
Pine Grove Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 8:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 6 a.m. Dec. 22 someone gained access to Wendy’s Cafe, Russell, through the rear door. Once inside, the intruder took the cash register drawer and money from another location in the business. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pleasant Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Mohawk Avenue, north of Elk Road, on Dec. 15 at 3:20 p.m. A 2006 Ford Freestar driven by Coleen French, Clarendon, was traveling north on Mohawk Avenue and a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Darryl McTavish, Warren, was traveling south. While negotiating a curve, French lost control of the vehicle, which proceeded to slide counter-clockwise across the roadway into the southbound lane. McTavish slowed and pulled as far onto the berm as possible. The right rear of French’s vehicle made initial impact with the left center of McTavish’s vehicle. After initial impact, McTavish’s vehicle was pushed down a slight embankment and came to rest with the front facing south. After initial impact, French’s vehicle slid north several feet down the same embankment and came to rest facing southeast. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Pleasant volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene. Police said French was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Dec. 17 at 11:25 a.m. on Route 6, east of Mohawk Avenue. A 2008 Mercury Milan, driven by Cassandra Johnston, Indiana, Pa., was traveling west and started to slide on slushy roads when Johnston lost control. The vehicle proceeded between the two guard rails and over an embankment on the westbound berm. Johnston was not injured and denied treatment at the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Pleasant volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene. Police said Johnston was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 24 at 1:15 p.m., Jeffrey Thompson, 42, Warren, was traveling north on Mohawk Avenue at Elk Road when he lost control negotiating a left-hand curve. The vehicle slid counter-clockwise then clockwise off the southbound berm before hitting the embankment and rolling onto its roof. Police report Thompson’s passenger, Lynsey Cowan, 31, Sugar Grove, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries. Thompson was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
Sheffield Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Dec. 18 at 7 a.m. on Route 6, north of Farnsworth Road. A 2008 Ford F-250, driven by Jesse Parsons, Sheffield, was traveling west on Route 6 when the vehicle lost traction and crossed over the eastbound lane of travel, leaving the southern berm of the roadway. The vehicle struck the ditch off the southern berm and rolled over, coming to rest on its wheels facing east. The vehicle suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Police said Parsons was not injured, but was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Southwest Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 8 and 13 someone entered a camp on Flat Road, near Selkirk Road, belonging to John Takach, West Springfield, Pa., causing damage. Once inside, the following items were stolen: orange camp hunting coat, camo rubber boots, a portable heater, a tool kit and three hunting knives. Sugar Grove
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 2 at 9:54 a.m. a theft occurred at the Kwik Fill in Sugar Grove where the victim, Carla Benitez, 57, used a credit card to activate a pump and then realized that the tank was on the other side. Benitez then pulled up to another pump and pumped gas. In the meantime, a black Ford F-150 with a plow pulled into the spot and pumped gas on the victim’s card.
Youngsville
Domestic violence. Warren-based state police reported on Dec. 19 at 10:25 a.m. that a known 36-year-old female and a known 40-year-old male, both of Youngsville, became involved in a physical altercation by shoving each other with both hands. The incident occurred in the area of Church Street. No injuries were reported, but both individuals were charged with harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police said Dec. 22-23, between 6 pm and 5:30 a.m. someone had spray painted obscene characters on a known victim’s Black 1994 GMC Sierra on Crestview Blvd. Police said damage estimated at $500.
Youngsville.
Fight. Youngsville Police Department investigated a fight that occurred on Dec. 19, at the Youngsville Elementary Middle School involving three known male juveniles. The fight occurred at the school at approx. 7:45 a.m. The juveniles are the ages of 13, 13 and 12, and they all have been cited with Disorderly Conduct.
Theft. The Youngsville Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred on Dec. 19, at the Youngsville Elementary Middle School. A known 13-year-old female juvenile reportedly stole a pair of shoes from another fellow peer. Charges are pending further investigation of the incident.
Harassment. Youngsville Police Department were called to the Youngsville Elementary Middle School to investigate an incident that occurred on Dec. 18. A known 13-year-old male juvenile was reportedly harassing a fellow peer by making obscene gestures towards the fellow student during school. Charges are pending further investigation of the incident.

Hit and Run. Conewango Township Police report on Dec. 20 at 9:45 p.m., a dark colored SUV bearing a Texas registration plate struck the front end of a Dodge sedan causing minor damage while it was parked in the Walmart parking lot. The driver fled the scene without leaving contact/insurance information. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Township Police at 814-726-0725.
Hit and Run. Conewango Township Police report on Dec. 21 between 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., someone hit a gold-colored 2008 Jeep Patriot while the vehicle was legally parked in the Walmart parking lot. Mead Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 20 at 8 p.m., an unknown driver traveling east on Rte. 6 crossed the westbound lane and traveled off the north roadside into a yard where it struck a fence. The vehicle continued traveling east, exited the yard and traveled into the Tiona Post Office parking lot. The vehicle left the area in an unknown direction. Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 21 at 10:30 p.m., Candice Walden, 31 of Warren, was traveling east on Rte. 59 when she was unable to avoid hitting a rock in the roadway. Her vehicle sustained damage to the undercarriage which disabled it a distance from the crash site. Walden was not injured in the accident.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 13 between midnight and 9 a.m., someone drove their vehicle onto the Chandler’s Valley Community Center ball field located at the corner of Brown Hill Rd. and Rte. 69 and rutted the field by doing donuts with their vehicle. Loitering and prowling. City of Warren police reported that Edward Edwards, 30, Warren was charged with loitering & prowling at night and public drunkenness on Dec. 15 after officers responded to a domestic dispute. He was arraigned and released on $5,000 bail.
Failure to comply. City of Warren Police reported that William Streit, 25, Warren was charged with failure to comply with Megan’s Law following an investigation by police. He was arraigned in front District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $20,000 bail.
Public drunkenness. City of Warren police reported that Anthony Hanson, 21, Warren was cited for public drunkenness on Dec. 15 after officers received a report of a man down in a parking lot.
Driving while suspended. City of Warren Police reported that Justin Ludwig, 32, Warren was cited for driving while suspended on Dec. 20 following a 2 vehicle accident at Wetmore & Allegheny.
Tidioute
Criminal mischief. Tidioute Borough police reported that sometime late Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning someone gained entry into a Pepsi machine in front of Polly’s Market and removed approximately $75 in cash and $75 in pop. Additionally, a Coke machine was entered in front of Baccardo’s Restautant and removed an undetermined amount of cash.

Bad check. Conewango Township Police said Chad Nelson, of Frewsburg, N.Y., wrote a check to Kinzua County Auction in the amount of $1,449.55 on Nov. 5. The check was returned after it was determined the account had been closed. A criminal complaint has been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Further court action is pending.
Hit and run. Conewango Township Police report that between 2 and 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 an unknown vehicle, believed to be a pick-up truck, backed into a white Dodge Intrepid that had been legally parked in the Radio Shack parking lot in North Warren. Police said after striking the Intrepid, the suspect vehicle fled the scene. The Intrepid sustained damage to the hood. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.
Glade Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 17 at 10 p.m., an unidentified vehicle was traveling south on West Street when it struck a vehicle legally parked in a driveway, then fled the scene. According to police, the unidentified vehicle is believed to have damage to the driver’s side light assembly, bumper, grille and hood.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police said at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday an unknown male, described as medium/large build, walked out of Walmart without paying for two Dyson vacuums and a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. He then left the area in a dark-color SUV of unknown make/model. Total value of merchandise stolen is $844.82. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.
Hit and run. Conewango Township Police said on Dec. 18, at approxmately 3:20 p.m. a known individual reported that his vehicle was backed into while parked at Superior Tire causing damage to its hood and bumper. Police said a witness told them that the driver of the hit and run vehicle, Curtis T. Rundell, 20, Warren, stopped and observed the damage and then fled the scene. Police said Rundell was cited with accidents involving damages to unattended vehicle or property.

Crash. Conewango Township police responded to an accident on Route 62 at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday. According to police, Dylan Cummings, 29, Niagara Falls, N.Y., was traveling south on Route 62 when two vehicles slowed down in front of him to enter Farm Colony Drive. Cummings, operating a tractor trailer pulling an empty tank, attempted to stop, causing his tank trailer to slide clockwise until it hit his tractor and turned the tractor 180 degrees before coming to a stop facing north. According to police, during the slide a pick-up truck operated by Richard Feeny was rear-ended by the tractor causing moderate damage to the pick-up. No injuries reported. Police said the tractor’s trailer brake became locked up due to a ruptured brake hose and was towed from the scene for safety reasons. Police said Cummings was cited for following too closely. Police said that Feeny, also a volunteer fire police with Russell Volunteer Fire Department, assisted them on scene with traffic control.
Glade Twp.
Drug possession. Warren-based police said at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday, Cody D. Devries, 18, Sheffield, was witnessed by a school official at the Warren County Career Center,possessing a bag containing marijuana in his hand inside the boy’s locker room. Police said charges were filed against Devries through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based police said between Dec.3 and14 someone removed the powder from the capsules of a 53-year-old Russell woman’s prescription drug and placed the capsules back together as if the capsules had not been tampered with.

Youngsville
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to an accident on Bates Street on Dec. 13 at 6:35 a.m. According to police, Daniel Westfall, 58, Youngsville, was traveling south on Bates Street when he became distracted and struck the left rear of a legally parked vehicle. Police said the impact caused the parked vehicle to travel six feet into a utility pole. Police said Westfall was cited for careless driving. No injuries were reported.

Theft. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 14 between 8 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., an unknown individual took a Baja Mini-Bike from 41 Valley Park, Sugar Grove Township. Police report the mini-bike was later recovered on Laurel St. in the City of Warren. An investigation continues.

Arrest. Warren County Sheriffs Deputies arrested Scott Thomas, 45, Clarendon, in a wooded lot near Cherry Grove Road and Route 6 after he led deputies on a foot pursuit from a garage in Weldbank on Dec. 13, at about 1:30 am. He was arrested on a warrant issued by Warren County Adult Probation on a charge of felony theft by unlawful taking and a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for fines and Cost court. He was placed in county prison pending further court action and additional charges are pending from the incident.
Youngsville
Possession of marijuana. Youngsville Borough Police Department arrested a known 16 yr. old male juvenile on Dec. 10, for possession of marijuana. The juvenile was found with three other male juvenile’s under the pavilion near Woodard Street with a small amount of marijuana in his pocket. Charges have been filed with juvenile probation police said.

Warren
Charged. City of Warren Police charged Jamie Watson, 38, Warren, with two counts aggravated assault, resisting arrest, institutional vandalism, endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, two counts of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, and public drunkenness after officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Dec. 2. Watson was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Prison on $25,000 bail.
Corruption of minors. City of Warren Police charged William Wilcox, 22, Warren, with corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and disorderly conduct after officers were called to a domestic dispute on Dec. 7. Stemming from the same incident, Haley Betts, 20; Christian McMillian, 20; and a juvenile; all of Warren, were charged with underage drinking. Samantha Bines, 18, Warren, was cited for harassment.
Cited. City of Warren Police cited Andrew Miles, 48, Warren, for harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after officers responded to a domestic dispute on Dec. 8.
Charged. Eric Olson, 44, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and defiant trespass on Dec. 6 after he was found to be removing track plates from the Allegheny Railroad. The amount is estimated at $1,200. He was placed in the Warren County Prison by Warren County Adult Probation.
Theft. City of Warren Police charged George Willis, 56, Warren, with theft of lost property and two counts of access device fraud on Dec. 2 following an investigation into the theft of a credit card, that he apparently used to purchase $91.48 worth of merchandise.
Cited. City of Warren Police cited John Guthrie, 41, Clarendon, for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct on Dec. 10 after police received a report of a man attempting to gain entry to the residence of a person known to him.
Harassment. City of Warren Police cited Merikay McDunn, 52, of Warren, for harassment on Dec. 12 after officers responded to a domestic dispute.
Harassment. City of Warren Police cited Angela Buchleitner, 27, Warren, for harassment on Dec. 10, after police received a report that she pushed the victim during a confrontation.
Public Drunkenness. City of Warren Police cited Patrick McAvoy, 28, Warren, for public drunkenness on Dec. 10 after officers received a call regarding a suspicious person.
Cited. City of Warren Police cited Diana Means, 47, Warren for following too closely following a 2-car accident on Conewango Ave. at McPherson on Dec. 9.
Careless Driving. City of Warren Police cite Lawrence Krespan, 90, Warren, with careless driving on Dec. 9 following a traffic accident on Conewango Ave. where he struck a legally parked vehicle.
Clarendon
Harassment. Warren-based state police cited Sonna Hankinson, 33, Clarendon, with harassment after she entered into a verbal argument with a 17-year-old female regarding money. Police report, during the argument, the accused struck the victim in the eye with her fist during the Dec. 11 incident.
Elk Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 10 at 10:30 a.m., Scott Carlson, 23, of Jamestown, NY was traveling south on Robin Hill Rd. as Benjamin Gauger, 27 of Frewsburg was traveling north. According to police, both vehicles were crowding the center of the roadway when they crested the hill and were unable to avoid a collision. Carlson received minor injuries in the accident. Both drivers were cited for driving on the right side of the roadway.

Arrest. On Dec. 10, Pennsylvania State Constables arrested Robert M. Nelson, 35, Warren, on a bench warrant for operating a vehicle without insurance, inspection and registration. Nelson was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.
Columbus Twp.
Crash. Corry-based state police responded to a two vehicle accident on Rt. 957 on Dec. 10 at 5:32 p.m. A 2002 Buick Regal LS, driven by Daniel Mather, 57, Corry, was traveling east on Rt. 957 and struck the rear of a disabled 2007 Chrysler Sebring, which was partially sitting on the eastbound berm. The Chrysler was unoccupied at the time of the crash and did not have any rear lights illuminated, including hazard lights. After Mather’s vehicle made contact with the Chrysler, both vehicles left the roadway coming to rest in a ditch on the south side of the road. Mather and a passenger, Linda Mather, 58, were restrained occupants with airbag deployment. Neither was injured. Assisting at the scene was Columbus VFD, Corry Ambulance Service and Leroy’s Towing. Mather was cited for roadways laned for traffic and the owner of the Chrysler was cited for vehicular hazard lamps.
Crash. Corry-based state police reported that on Dec. 10 at 5:50 a.m. a 1994 Honda Civic, driven by Edgardo E. Casillas-Cotto, 28, Jamestown, NY, was traveling went on Rt. 957. The vehicle traveled at a speed too great to safely negotiate a right hand curve in the roadway. The rear of the vehicle slid sideways, which caused the vehicle to travel off the roadway onto the north shoulder. The vehicle then hit a dirt embankment and slid approximately 30 feet before coming to rest. Both Casillas-Cotto and a passenger, Ronald McIntire, Kennedy, NY, sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Casillas-Cotto was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Pleasant Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 9 between 10:30 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. someone forcibly entered the residence of Christopher Morrison, Wilderness Trailer Park, Clarendon, and caused damage. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to conact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Tidioute
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on Dec. 8 at 12:35 a.m., a vehicle, driven by Chad D. McLaughlin, 27, Tidioute, was seen stopping abruptly in a dirt pull off located along the shoulder of Tidioute Creek Road, just below the SR 27 intersection. McLaughlin exited his vehicle and began walking on foot towards Tidioute. He left his vehicle parked along the roadway following a domestic verbal dispute with his female passenger. Upon observing police contact with the vehicle and the female passenger, McLaughlin returned to the scene and was determined to be the driver of the vehicle. He was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of observation and incident. McLaughlin was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Blood results determined his BAC to be above the legal limit. Charges against McLaughlin include two counts of DUI and one count of carless driving. Charges will be filed at District Justice Cnynthia Lindemuth’s office in Youngsville.
Erie County
Arrest. Pennsylvania State Constable’s on Dec. 10, arrested Kevin L. Lewis, 27, for multiple traffic violations related to a vehicle crash. Lewis was taken before MDH Lindemuth. He was released and pending further court action.
McKean County
Crash. Kane-based state police said on Dec. 10, Draven Nudd, 18, Warren, was traveling east on SR59, he attempted to negotiate a right curve in the roadway and lost control of his Ford Taurus due to icy/snow covered roadway conditions. Nudd’s vehicle spun clockwise off the south berm and Nudd impacted a tree causing disabling damage. Minor injuries were reported at the scene. Nudd was wearing his seat belt, his vehicle was towed from the scene by Penn Mark Towing.

Farmington Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 6 at 11:47 p.m., Christopher Howard, 21, of Russell, was traveling east on Rt. 957 when he lost control of his vehicle on the slush/snow-covered roadway. As Howard was attempting to gain control of his vehicle, Edgar Waters, 57, of Garland attempted to avoid a head-on collision and struck the vehicle driven by Howard. As a result of the accident, Howard and a 60-year-old female passenger in Waters’ vehicle both had to be mechanically extracted from the vehicles. All three individuals were transported to Warren General Hospital for the treatment on minor injuries. According to police, everyone was wearing seatbelts when the crash occurred. Howard was cited for Driving vehicle at safe speed. Both vehicles received disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Chase Car Care. Lander VFD, Russell VFD, and Emergicare Ambulance crew assisted at the scene.
Youngsville
False alarms. On Dec. 7, Youngsville Area High School had three burglar alarms, located near the auditorium, activated between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Through three separate investigations, each alarm proved to be false. Charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Found. Corry-based state police report on Dec. 6 at 4:40 p.m., a Hitch-Haul brand, metal rack “deer” carrier, black in color, was found lying on Schrambling Rd. If anyone is missing this item, they are asked to call PSP Corry at 814-663-2043.
Freehold Twp.
Trespass. Corry-based state police report on Dec. 6 at noon, Ronald Smith, 53, of Pittsfield, observed Nathan Smith, 32, and Arden Smith, 58, both of Irvine, hunting on his posted property just west of Seaman’s Rd. Both men were charged with defiant criminal trespassing through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Lost and Found. Warren-based state police report between Dec. 1 and Dec. 4, Gregory Burkett, of Warren, lost a .357 caliber Ruger Blackhawk revolver with a black, plastic grip at an unknown location. City of Warren
Harassment. PA State Constables report on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m., Nikkia Lindstrom, 24, of Warren, was arrested on a Bench Warrant and taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson on charges of Harassment with physical contact. Lindstrom was remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Defiant Trespass. PA State Constables report on Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m., Richard Olsen, 31, of Warren was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Defiant Trespassing and taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson. Olsen was released pending further court action.
Deerfield Twp.
Harassment. Warren-based state police report on Dec. 5 at 10:15 p.m., a 22 year-old female (Accused 1) from Tidioute and a 24 year-old male (Accused 2) from Bemus Point, NY, got into an altercation over property. According to police, Accused 2 shoved Accused 1 with both hands, leading Accused 1 to punch and kick Accused 2. Both of the Accused were charged with Harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.
Grand Valley
Parole Violation. On Dec. 5, officers from the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested James Ray Sullivan, 26, of Grand Valley, on charges of violation of parole. Sullivan, who was originally placed on parole on a charge of retail theft, was arrested by probation officers on a Supervisor’s Warrant and committee to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Sheffield Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police report between Oct. 1 and Nov. 1, a known suspect removed an antique, 1920’s McCormick Deering tractor valued at $1,250 from a Sheffield residence. The tractor was located on Dec. 4 and returned the the victim. The investigation is currently pending.

Charged. Warren City police said they charged Joseph Windham, 21, Warren with obscene and other sexual materials and performances and corruption of minors on Nov. 21 following an investigation.
Cited. Warren City police said they cited Steven Swick, 41, Warren, for harassment on Dec. 2 following a domestic dispute at his residence.
Charged. Warren City police said they charged Christina Potter, 36, Warren, with two counts of DUI, driving vehicle at a safe speed and operation of a vehicle without certificate of inspection on Nov. 25 following a traffic accident at the intersection of Market Street and Fifth Avenue where she struck a tanker truck.
Cited. Warren City police said they cited Sherman McKown, 69, Sheffield, for driving a vehicle at a safe speed on Nov. 27 following a two-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Cited. Warren City police said they cited Ellen Nelson, 55, Warren, for limitations on backing on Dec. 1 following a two-vehicle accident on Fourth Avenue.
Cited. Warren City police said they cited Amanda Smith, 25, Warren, for defiant trespass on Nov. 29 after she forced her way into a home and refused to leave.
Mead Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police said on Nov. 28, Aaron Hall, 24, Sheffield, was traveling east on Route 6 in his Dodge Ram and failed to negotiate a left curve. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the road and struck an embankment. Police said the vehicle overturned several times before coming to rest in the westbound lane on its passenger side facing northeast. Police said they determined Hall was DUI. He will face charges before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth. Assisting at the scene were Warren City Police, PennDOT, Pleasant, Glade and Clarendon volunteer firefighters.
Sugar Grove
DUI. Warren-based state police said on Dec. 3 that Dylan Brooks, 22, Corning, N.Y., was found stuck in the snow on Route 957, two-tenths of a mile east of Curtis Street under the influence of alcohol while sitting behind the wheel of a 2004 Chevrolet with the motor running and vehicle’s transmission in drive.

Crash. Corry-based state police report on Nov. 28 at 1:34 p.m., Gary Weber, 39, Russell, was traveling north on Rundall Road when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow- and ice-covered roadway. Police said no injuries were reported and Weber was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
Freehold Twp.
Arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies reported arresting Curtis Randall, 708 W. Washington St., Corry, at an establishment on Rt. 6 in Freehold Twp on Dec. 3 at 3:05 p.m. He was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for his domestic relations hearing. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Mead Twp.
Arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dale Harkins, Clarendon, at a garage on Fullerton Avenue in Stoneham at approximately 1 p.m. on Dec. 3. He was arrested on a bench warrant issued by District Justice Laura Bauer for failure to pay fines. He was placed in the Warren County Jail in lieu of bail.
Sugar Grove
Parole violation. On Dec. 3, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Pennsylvania State Police, arrested Colton James Parker, 23, Sugar Grove, on charges of violation of parole. While investigating a DUI-related crash on Rt. 957 in Sugar Grove Borough at approximately 1:43 a.m. on Dec. 3, troopers encountered Parker, who was a passenger in the vehicle. According to a release from Warren-based state police, Parker was removed from the vehicle for identity and became argumentative and threatening, resulting in him having to be subdued. Probation officers were contacted and arrested Parker for parole violations and committed him to the Warren County Jail pending further court action. Parker had originally been placed on parole on Nov. 22 for charges of forgery. Troopers said they indicated to probation officers that Parker was also charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct as a result of his actions during their investigation of the crash.
Youngsville
Warrant arrest. On Nov. 27 at 11:48 a.m., Warren County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Moore, 19, Youngsville, at his residence. He was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for fines and cost court. He was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.
Arrested. On Dec. 2, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department, with assistance from Pennsylvania State Police, arrested Yvonne Ames, 35, Youngsville, on charges of violation of parole. Probation officers were at Ames’ residence for a curfew check when they observed her drive up in her vehicle. Officers said when contact was made with Ames, it was apparent that she was under the influence of alcohol. Ames further admitted to probation officers that she had just returned from Jamestown, N.Y., where she has purchased heroin. State police troopers were contacted to conduct a DUI investigation. Ames, who was originally placed on parole on the charge of DUI, was arrested by probation officers on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action. In addition, state police indicated to probation officers that new criminal charges may be filed, pending the results of blood analysis.

County, NY
Warrant arrest. On Dec. 2 at 3:00 p.m., Warren County Sheriff’s deputies assisted by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies, arrested Raymond Blair, 33, Little Valley, N.Y., in the Cattaraugus County Jail. He was arrested on three bench warrants issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for failure to appear for fines and cost court and a supervisor’s warrant for violation of probation. He was placed in the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

DUI. Corry-based state police report on Nov. 30 at 9:09 p.m., Alex Dyke, 23, Pittsfield, was involved in a snowmobile crash near Moon Road. According to police, Dyle was wearing a helmet and did not sustain any injuries. Police report during the course of the investigation, it was determined Dyke was driving under the influence.
