ROBERT KRAFT

A funeral service for Robert L Kraft Sr., 66, of Russell, who died Monday, was held on Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville, with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating. Serving as pallbearers for burial in Pine Grove Cemetery were: Ben Kraft, Bob Kraft, Mike Watson, Tyler Craft, Craig Swanson and Kimberly Watson.

Robert L. Kraft Sr., 66, of 261 Cottage Place, Russell, Pa., passed away September, 30, 2013 suddenly at his home.

He was born February 7, 1947, the son of the late John L. and Viola E. Irwin Kraft in Warren, Pa. Robert served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany as an M.P. and he was a Vietnam veteran. After the army, he worked for 25 years as the head maintenance supervisor for D.H.S., retiring in 2007.

Robert enjoyed woodworking, collecting brass and antique cars. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his fiance Linda Phillips of Russell; his children, Robert (Kimberly) Kraft Jr., of Warren, Kimberly(Michael)Watson of Sheffield, Ben(Laura)Kraft of Warren; grandchildren Tyler, Taylor, Kelsey, Keturah and Kayla Kraft, Nicholas, Mikayla and Dakota Sliter and Shyanna Watson; great grandchildren Annabella Matteson and Nakoda Watson; sisters Dawn(Fred)Smith of Russell and Glenda Miller of Warren; brother Glenn(Valerie)Carlson of Sheffield; Uncle Clinton(Inga)Robertson of Youngsville; his dog Freddy and cat Bear, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife Linda Hillard Kraft; his grandmother Mable Robinson; his brothers Randall P. and Richard L. Leichtenberger and his nephew Gary C. Bullock.

Friends may be received from 47p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. Youngsville. A funeral service will take place there at 11:00a.m with Rev. Marcus Briggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell. Memorials may be made to the Warren Cancer Center, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, Pa. 16365 or the Warren County Humane Society, Elm St. Warren, Pa. 16365.
