ALYSE KINNE

Alyse C. Kinne (Cobey), age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 20, 2013. She was born at St Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh N.Y, on June 2, 1925 to her parents William E. Cobey and Julia Morgenthaler.

She was beloved by her five sons, William (Kay Eom), John (Suzann), Richard, Charles (Linda) and Robert Kinne, her eleven grandchildren, Ginyse Braddy (Ray), Laura, Brian, Morgan, Faith, Nathan, Julia, Alex, Walter (Heather), Christopher and Jacob Kinne, and her twelve greatgrandchildren, Michelle and Thomas Kinne, Joseph, Aidan and Liam Braddy, Milena Jewell, and Kailen, Zachary, Jordan, Jonathan, Jennifer and Trenton Kinne.

She was a devoted wife to her husband, Walter, who died in 1970. She was also preceded in death by her grandsons William Eon Kinne, Daniel Kinne and Robert Kinne II, her brother, William E. Cobey, Jr. and her sister, Mary Terese Hansen.

Alyse attended Cornell University from 19421944, studying mechanical engineering. She graduated Jamestown Community College as a nurse in 1976 and retired from Warren General Hospital after many years of service. Alyse continued to work for several years thereafter as a Pharmacy Tech at the Jamestown area KMart Pharmacy as well as the piecegoods shop.

A time for family members and friends to gather has been scheduled for Thursday July 25th from 24 and 68 at McKinney’s Funeral Home in Sugar Grove Pa. The Funeral will be held at McKinney’s on Friday July

26th at 11 am.
