The Warren Public Library has announced the release of its 2026 commemorative ornament, featuring the winning design from the library’s second annual ornament contest.
After reviewing 24 submissions, the Warren Public Library Board of Directors and library staff selected a design created by 11-year-old Elizabeth Rockwell, a student at Beaty Warren Middle School.
The 2026 ornaments will go on sale Monday for $10 each and will be available at the library while supplies last.
Library officials said the annual contest celebrates the creativity and artistic talents of local students while providing an opportunity for the community to support the library and its programs.
“We are thrilled to feature Elizabeth’s design as our 2026 ornament,” said Executive Director Sara Edmiston in a news release. “The response to our second annual contest was outstanding, and we appreciate all 24 students who shared their creativity and talent with us. We are grateful to our community members who support the library through ornament purchases.”
Proceeds from ornament sales directly support the library's programs and services, helping fund educational, cultural and recreational opportunities for community members of all ages.
In addition to the 2026 ornament, a limited number of 2025 ornaments remain available for purchase. They will continue to be sold while supplies last.
Those interested in more information or purchasing an ornament beginning Nov. 2 can visit the Warren Public Library at 205 Market Street or call (814) 723-4650.
