A teacher has been found not guilty of six felony charges filed in 2025 charging her with statutory sexual assault.

Megan Minich, 42, of Warren heard the verdict by the jury on Wednesday in front of Judge Todd Woodin in the Court of Common Pleas. She was found not guilty on charges of first-degree statutory sexual assault: 11 years older; third-degree felony school - intercourse/sexual contact with a student; and two counts of third-degree corruption of minors - defendant age 18 or above. Three counts of unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses had been withdrawn before the trial began.

According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the State Police at Warren was notified of three Childline Reports received by the Warren County District Attorney's Office regarding a known youth alleging a teacher at the Tidioute Community Charter School had a sexual relationship with the youth. The complaint also alleged Minich gave the youth, who was 13 years of age at the time of the alleged incident in 2022, a large sum of money to keep the relationship a secret.
