The Salvation Army of Warren invites the community to celebrate a decade of local giving at the 10th Anniversary Red Kettle Kickoff event on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Located at 2311 Beech Street in Warren, the Salvation Army marks the 10th year as the "tin" anniversary, and brings extra celebration and excitement to the organization’s signature holiday launch. With a decade of community partnership, the event will feature a special commemorative "tin"-themed grand prize raffle valued at $1,000.
“Celebrating our 10th anniversary is really a celebration of this community and the incredible generosity people have shown over the years," said Jennie Miller, Co-Chair of the Red Kettle Committee. "To mark our ‘tin’ year, we’re featuring a one-of-a-kind silver Christmas tree decorated with cash, gift cards, and lottery tickets as part of our grand prize raffle. It’s a fun and festive way to recognize ten years of neighbors helping neighbors, while giving supporters the chance to take home something truly special.”
Designed as a festive day for families and community members of all ages, attendees can enjoy a broad lineup of activities and entertainment, including:
• Holiday Family Photos: Pawparazzi Photography will offer family photo sessions at $10
• Live Local Performances: Continuous entertainment featuring Molly Dies Dance Company and Allegheny Eclipse
• Auctions & Drawings: More than 100 basket raffles, a live auction, 50/50 drawings,
and the $1,000 grand prize raffle.
Every dollar raised during the kickoff event, and the upcoming Red Kettle campaign directly benefits local Warren County families in need.
"When you support the Red Kettle campaign, you are making an immediate, tangible impact right here in Warren County," said Melissa Stanko, Co-Chair of the Red Kettle Committee. "One hundred percent of every donation entrusted to the Warren Salvation Army stays local. Your generosity provides food, emergency assistance, and essential support programs for our neighbors who need it most during the holiday season and throughout the entire year."
Admission is open to the public. Families and community members are encouraged to attend, take part in the festivities, tour the Salvation Army building, learn more about the mission and impact they make in Warren County, and help launch the 2026 holiday campaign.
