Kalbfus Rod and Gun raises money for scouts
Trending
The Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club recently hosted a fundraising sporting clays shoot for the Chief Cornplanter Council of Scouting America. Each adult shooter paid $50 to compete in a 75-target sporting clays shoot. Thirty-five shooters participated raising $1,750 for the local council.
Scouting Executive Jim Shaw was pleased with the event and the funds raised to support local council activities. "Although the Scouting program is national, we depend on local fundraising to support the activities of the council which serves Warren County and Ludlow Pennsylvania. The mission of the Scouting program is to help prepare young people to make good, ethical choices as they grow into adulthood. We believe that the lessons learned in the Scouting program will help guide young men and women throughout their lives."
Winners of the sporting clays shoot were:
Roger Retzinger -- Winner/Top Gun
Ed Acklin -- Second Place
Sunny Linden -- High Lady Shooter
Ryan Sveda -- High Junior Shooter
