Jackson Valley Ladies’ League members make donation to Warren Cancer Care Center

Board members of the Jackson Valley Golf Course Ladies' League visited the Warren Cancer Care Center to present a $500 donation on behalf of the league and its 2026 season members.

The local ladies' golf league, made up of more than 60 women, raised the money through weekly member contributions, special events and raffles held throughout the golf season.

"Thanks to the generosity and participation of its members, the league was able to give back to an organization that holds a special place in the hearts of many," league members said in a news release.

The Warren Cancer Care Center was selected as the league's 2026 charitable recipient through a member vote held at the 2025 end-of-season banquet in part because so many league members have personal connections to the center through either their own experiences or those of family and friends.

"The JVGC Ladies' League is proud to support the Warren Cancer Care Center and the important care and services it provides to individuals and families throughout our community," league officials said.
