Hospice plans annual memorial service

By JESSICA N. REX 1 min read
Pastor Tara Eastman will once again speak at the Hospice of Warren County’s Annual Memorial Service this year at her home church, First Presbyterian on Sunday.

In recognition of November as Grief Awareness Month, Hospice of Warren County invites the community to its Annual Memorial Service on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, located at 300 Market St. in Warren.

This non-denominational service offers an opportunity to come together in remembrance and celebration of the lives of loved ones who have passed. Through meaningful readings drawn from various faith traditions, poetry, personal reflections and beautiful music, the service provides a time for reflection, comfort and connection for those navigating grief.

Held annually on the first Sunday in November, the Memorial Service moves to a different church each year, allowing Hospice of Warren County to connect with communities throughout the area and welcome the participation of different local clergy.

All community members are welcome to attend, regardless of their faith tradition or whether their loved one received hospice care. An informal reception with refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.
