A scene from the 2025 Murder Mystery performance features Dr. John Shaughnessy checking on victim Marty Meddock, surrounded by suspects Katrina Campbell, Rachel Maynor, and Griffin Fox.

Dust off your dancing shoes and find your competitive spirit as the Warren County Historical Society will be engaging in games and dancing during this year's annual Murder Mystery Dinner: “Birthday Bash Gone Wrong.”

On Nov. 7, community members are encouraged to join the Warren County Historical Society for another unforgettable evening at the Conewango Club, 201 Market Street, Warren, PA for the presentation written by and starring Katrina Campbell.

This murder mystery production brings a satirical twist to the upcoming national milestone with a plot revolving around the hijacking of America's 250th birthday. The story follows Starof Theshow, a character described as a spoiled brat who takes over the historic star-spangled decorations to save money and pivot the focus to her own milestone. Audiences will help a colorful cast of characters, including Pesa Cake, Can Dels, and Ice Cream, as they try to keep the peace and celebrate Starof's 29th birthday.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive in their best semi quincentennial attire, as Starof will be prepared to meet your acquaintance at the door. Cocktails commence at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. There will be a Take-A-Chance Auction, a 50/50 raffle and cash bar. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased at 210 Fourth Ave, Warren or online at warrenhistory.org/events. Tickets purchased online before October 31, 2026, will be mailed to the buyer.Tickets purchased online on or after October 31, 2026, will be available at the door.
