ERIE - The Erie Zoo will be hosting its third annual Zoo for All event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield as part of their Healthy Zoo, Healthy You initiative.
The goal of Zoo for All is to encourage the community to get outside, stay active, and enjoy fresh air while exploring the Zoo. Thanks to the generous support of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, admission will be free for guests throughout the entire day, making the Zoo both affordable and accessible for everyone.
During this event there will be a conservation book sale where recycled books are available to purchase by donation to help support the Erie Zoo's conservation initiatives. On Saturday, September 5th only, there will also be a Last Chance Lagoon intake station allowing anyone to bring in and surrender their unwanted goldfish or koi without having to schedule an appointment.
