Kalbfus Rod & Gun Club to host fall shoot Saturday

The Kalbfus Rod & Gun Club will hold its fall sporting shoot on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. There will be 100 targets from 20 stations. Entry fee is $65 with junior fee for those under age 18 costs $50. Lewis Class Entry is included. There will be three classes, modified 50/30/20 format, no ties. Lunch is included. Door prizes and an optional $5 HOA entry for first, second and third place with a 50/30/20 high gun payout.
Founded in 1927, the club completed its sporting clays course in 2017 and has hosted a fall shoot to celebrate the end of the summer season of sporting clays shooting.
"Even though we offer sporting clays shooting year round, celebrating the end of summer is a good time for a competitive sporting clays shoot," said Michael McDunn, Kalbfus Rod & Gun Club president. "We welcome shooters from all over Northwestern Pennsylvania and Southern New York to this fall shoot."
