Visitors to the Allegheny National Forest should be aware of a short-term closure on Forest Road 321 in McKean County as crews replace a culvert between Sept. 8 and Sept. 15.
The work is part of the forest's ongoing effort to keep well-traveled roads safe, reliable and in good shape for the long haul. To allow crews to work safely, a 1.4 mile section of Forest Road 321 will be closed to through traffic. Forest Road 321 is a connecting road between Route 321 and Route 219. Travelers should plan for a brief detour and expect normal access to resume in about a week.
