Fall Frenzy event planned for Werner Park

Joe Madigan and Jennifer Madigan prepared the barrel train for the Pine Grove Days Labor Day parade and will use it again at the Fall Frenzy on Saturday. The Kinzua Area Discovery Center will hold a Fall Frenzy in partnership with the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, as well the ACM (Association of Children’s Museums) and Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play.

The event will take place at Werner Park in Russell on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and children under 2 years of age are free. There will be multiple fall themed STEM activities as well as a storywalk and a petting zoo.

Barrel train rides add to the fall fun. Food trucks include 3 Hounds Creamery, Big Cheese Grill & BBQ, Hogs on Dogs, and Bean Bank Enterprises.

Marty’s Bubblegum Machine will be on site from 9:30 to 10 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. The Vivacious Hoopster will be there from noon to 3 p.m. There will be photo ops and a basket raffle.
