Couple wins sixth Historical Society scavenger hunt

The Warren County Historical Society is pleased to announce that this year's winners of the "Trail of History Challenge" are Sherry and Herb Johnson. This is the sixth year for the Warren County Historical Society's scavenger hunt, and, reportedly, it was no less challenging than previous games.
According to managing director Michelle Gray, "The challenges were geared to commemorate the semiquincentennial in hopes of the participants learning more about Warren County’s Revolutionary Patriots."
The game was orchestrated by the Historical Society's Education Committee members who gathered months in advance to map out 12 historic sites. The committee members are tasked with identifying a location and seeking out clues that will help lead participants to their destinations.
Sherry Johnson and her husband, Herb, were able to get all of the clues correct. Sherry stated that they thought a couple of the clues were a bit tricky but they had completed the game in a couple of weeks.
Honorable mentions go to the team Kubis, Peck, Malloy, and Moore; team Reed and Lewis; team Crawford and Wolboldt; and Cathy Peterson. In the event of more than one team having the correct answers, the winner is drawn.
