Wreaths Across America’s mobile exhibit makes stop

Our nation's freedom stands strong after 250 years because of the enduring sacrifices made by our military service members, making it vital to honor them to preserve American liberty.
The location coordinators from Wreaths Across America representing Warren County have partnered with the Warren County Fair to present the mission to remember all of Warren County’s fallen veterans. Stacey Krespan, Skyla Govier, Judy Kuzminski, Kristy Kuzminski, and Barbara Lynn Cole have worked together to bring the mobile education unit to the fair this year. This free experience will be available to visit through Saturday.
The powerful story and mission of the Wreaths Across America organization is captured to remember the fallen, honor those who serve and teach the next generation the value of freedom. The 48' traveling exhibit features a 24-person theater, interactive computers, and information about Wreaths Across America's (WAA) yearlong endeavor to teach future generations about the sacrifice our brave servicemembers have made. Month by month, for 2026 and beyond, WAA's local sponsorship groups across the nation host events along the semi-truck's tour. Free and open to the public, these events embrace fundraising, holding ceremonial wreath placements, and creating a community of support, patriotism, and love of country, while also providing a space for servicemembers to tell their stories.
In addition, and of significant importance, is that the exhibit also serves as an official 'Welcome Home' location for our nation's Vietnam veterans. Since hitting the road in 2019, ambassadors have welcomed home more than 6,000 Vietnam veterans, honoring their unparalleled sacrifices.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to visit this week and opportunities to share in personal reflections are welcomed. Members of the media, dignitaries, veterans, and other interested groups are urged to come, ask questions, share stories, and experience this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
Teachers and homeschool families are encouraged to stop by to learn and receive a full k-12 accredited curriculum, customizable to meet state standards.
The newly restored mobile unit has scheduled stops along the east coast for the remainder of the year, and will end with an escort to Arlington on the National Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 19.
Support for the Mobile Education Exhibit helps in sharing more about the yearlong mission of the national nonprofit, and the work its volunteers do to support our heroes and their communities throughout the country. Each sponsorship reinforces the many ways in which WAA honors the legacy of our servicemembers. Additionally, this sponsorship places a live, balsam veteran wreath on the headstone of an American Hero, honoring all veterans laid to rest, as part of National Wreaths Across America Day.
The Warren County Fair will have a ceremony with speakers to honor veterans today beginning with speakers at noon followed by an America 250 ceremony. Wreath placement by the Tidioute American Legion Honor Guard will take place as well.
The mobile education exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Saturday at the fair, located near the D& L Enos Milling/Kalmbach Feeds Gate.
