Warren County artist Kimberly Mickelson-Slocum will exhibit her work in the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association's "Landscapes, Seascapes, and Cityscapes Show 2026" at the 1020 Collective, 1020 Holland St., Erie.
The exhibition features work by juried artist members of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association and opened with a public reception Thursday.
Mickelson-Slocum will exhibit "What Is Unseen," a 30- by 48-inch acrylic landscape on canvas. The work was influenced by time spent at Chapman State Park Lake and the Kinzua Reservoir. Slocum’s painting embodies the impact of time spent on these local water ways in the early mornings when fog moves across the water and slowly reveals the landscape. The painting was created in acrylic over a modeled, textured canvas, giving the surface a dimensional quality.
The exhibition will also be featured during Erie Gallery Night on Friday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 10 p.m., and will remain on view through Sept. 27.
Mickelson-Slocum is a Warren County artist and juried member of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association.
