The Warren County School District will hold its Committee of the Whole meeting tonight at the Central Office Administration building in Russell at 6 p.m. with a special meeting to immediately follow.

Tax exonerations for improperly assessed properties is on the agenda for approval from the board. In addition, bus routes and the drivers for 2026-2027, financial reports, treasurer’s report and the capital project reserve will be presented.

Analysis of self funding and the burn rate is also on the agenda. The financial report indicates that two grants have been received totaling over $85,000.

Resignations of two certificated personnel and seven support personnel have been submitted.

Up for approval is the maintenance renewal of the annual implementation and maintenance plan which ensures that first responders receive accurate, mulit-format facility maps to be integrated into public safety systems.

An updated K-5 STEM planned instruction is proposed to reflect the district’s transition to an in-house curriculum developed by district staff rather than utilizing a STEM instructional platform – a revision expected to save the district approximately $40,000 annually while maintaining alignment with curriculum goals and instructional standards.

The school board will review fiscal recommendations to approve over $8 million in total bills and non-cash disbursements alongside a Warren County Recorder realty transfer tax item of over $800.
