An exclusive invitation is extended for 50 charter donors to secure the foundation of the new hands-on discovery center.
The Kinzua Area Discovery Center is officially seeking contributions for its Founding 50 Bedrock group, a campaign that invites 50 families, businesses and individuals to become charter investors of the center. The 50 donors will have their names etched on a permanent “Founding Wall” within the museum, marking them as the original supporters of the center. .
“The Kinzua area is defined by its deep roots and its soaring heights, from our ancient forests to the engineering marvel of the Kinzua Dam,” said Jennifer Madigan, executive director of the Kinzua Area Discovery Center. “The Founding 50 is about capturing that same spirit. We are looking for 50 leaders to help us build a space where our children AND families can explore, create, and discover the wonders of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) right here in their own backyard.”
The Founding 50 Bedrock champions are those who contribute $5,000 or more to the center’s Founding 50 Campaign. Money raised will be immediately deployed toward exhibit design and initial construction, moving the center closer to its goal of providing a high-tech, high-touch educational hub for rural youth. As a “Founding 50” member, donors receive a commemorative framed certificate, an invitation to an exclusive hard-hat preview, and a permanent place in the center’s history.
“We aren’t just building a museum; we are building an economic and educational catalyst for Warren County,” said Madigan. “When people see these 50 names on our wall decades from now, they will know exactly who had the vision to put our children and community first.”
