Community Foundation receives April contributions
The Community Foundation of Warren County received $6,810 in contributions from donors in April to the following funds held by the Community Foundation:
– AnneBelle Bollinger Scholarship Fund: Lee B. Savino
– Mark S. Dutchess. Be The Light Scholarship: Shawn O. Walker.
– Cindy and Robert Kaemmerer Scholarship Fund: Mark and Christine King, In Honor of Rob Kaemmerer.
– Debra Anderson Furry Friends Fund: Debra Anderson.
– Mary Edwards Conarro Nursing Scholarship: Tim Conarro and Kathryn Trauner.
– Mary Emily and William S. Allen Fund: William S. Allen.
– Paula Southwell Memorial Scholarship, Crossett Inc. Trevor Chambers Memorial Scholarship: Kevin Chambers, Levi J. Hendrickson.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $239,026 in May to the following charitable causes serving Warren County residents: City of Warren Heritage Mural, Community Foundation Need-based Scholarships, Hospice of Warren County – John & Orpha Blair Hospice Residence, Eisenhower High School Bandtastic Boosters DC Veterans Parade Trip, EmergyCare, Kids In Need Fund, Tidioute Community Charter School PA Agriculture Program, Warren County 4th of July Committee, Warren County Fair, Warren County Summer Music School, Warren Gives, Warren Players Club, and the Wrightsville VFD.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved the disbursement of $1,171,350 in scholarships to more than 300 Warren County students attending college or university. The Community Foundation’s Scholarship Program administers 55 scholarships with eligibility ranging from academic achievement, athletic achievement, field of study, school attending, residency, life-experience, and financial need – all available through one application.
