Straight No Chaser will bring its summer tour “Straight No Chaser Beach Bash” to the Struthers Library Theatre on July 7.
The nine-member group will perform iconic songs of summer from the last six decades, including Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance.”
The tour officially begins June 16 at the Count Basie Center in Red Bank, New Jersey and runs through July 12 with the final stop being at Oxford Performing Arts Center in Oxford, Ala. . Most stops on the tour will be the group’s only local performance of 2026.
The “Summer Beach Bash” announcement follows the group’s 2025 marathon fall tour, “Holiday Road,” where they played 63 shows in the last three months of the year. Their newest holiday album, also titled Holiday Road, featured guest appearances from Mickey Guyton, John Splithoff, and Hunter Hayes, whose collaboration, “Christmas is Different,” landed on holiday playlists from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Vevo.
With all nine members being rabid football fans, the group decided to try their voices at all the major NFL network theme songs, a post which is now approaching 10 million across their social platforms.
Initially formed at Indiana University, a cappella group Straight No Chaser emerged at the forefront of the modern day a cappella movement and have since earned 2 RIAA Gold Certified albums, more than a billion streams with 3 million albums sold worldwide, and more than 100 million YouTube views. Renowned for their captivating performances with nine unaltered human voices coming together to create extraordinary music, Straight No Chaser has sold more than 1.75 million tickets to their live shows.
The nine-man act of Walter Chase, Jerome Collins, Seggie Isho, Michael Luginbill, Steve Morgan, Luke Bob Robinson, Jasper Smith, Tyler Trepp and Freedom Young has served as a festive blend of harmonious voices for more than two and a half decades, having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.
In addition to tours, Straight No Chaser has had dozens of major television performances and collaborated with artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John and Stevie Wonder. Their most recent non-holiday album, Yacht on the Rocks, even included a collaboration with Toto’s David Paich. In addition, two of its eight LPs, Holiday Spirits and Christmas Cheers, have been RIAA-Certified Gold.
