Corry man faces four felonies related to attempted sex crimes

A Corry attorney is facing four felony charges after allegedly attempting to meet with an underage female to have sexual relations.

Delbert I. Liller III, 36, of Corry was charged Wednesday with first-degree unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses, third-degree felony unlawful contact with a minor – open lewdness, third-degree felony criminal use of a communication facility and third-degree corruption of minors – defendant age 10 or above.

According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, Liller made contact with an undercover Facebook messenger account operated by law enforcement on Tuesday.

Liller then allegedly texted the account, where he was made aware that the age of the covert account was a 15 year old female.

According to the affidavit, Liller had sent multiple lewd messages to the account, including statements about sex and paying for sex. The defendant also allegedly attempted to have the presumed 15 year old female send him illicit photos.

Liller allegedly directed the presumed 15 year old to the area of East Street and West Third Avenue to meet for sexual relations on Wednesday.

According to the affidavit, law enforcement surveyed the area and found Liller in his vehicle where he was to meet the presumed 15 year old.

Liller also allegedly sent a photo of his location to the presumed 15 year old female and allegedly stated that he was parked and waiting.

Liller was arraigned on Wednesday evening by Magisterial District Court Judge Laura Bauer, and bail was set at $50,000.

Liller has been taken to the Warren County Prison until he can post bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 10 in Judge Bauer’s court.
