Warren man charged after fleeing officer

=A Warren man has been jailed on $25,000 bail after allegedly fleeing from a police officer on a motorcycle.

Dillon T. Gray, 34, of Warren was charged Saturday by Youngsville police officers with misdemeanor fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, misdemeanor illegally operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and five traffic citations. Gray was arraigned by Magisterial District Court Judge Laura Bauer on Saturday, with Bauer setting bail at $25,000. Gray was taken to the Warren County Jail until he could post bail.

According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, an officer reportedly saw a motorcycle traveling on Hillside Drive in Youngsville at 4:33 p.m. Saturday. The officer checked the driver’s license status and noted the rider is required to operate only with an ignition interlock device. While motorcycles can have an ignition interlock device installed, installation isn’t as straightforward as installing the device in a regular motor vehicle.

The officer reported seeing Gray turn onto National Forge Road without using a turn signal and then activated his vehicle’s emergency lights and siren. Gray allegedly looked back toward the patrol vehicle and drove away.

“The driver accelerated away at a high rate of speed,” the officer reported in the affidavit. “I continued with my lights and siren on, but did not chase the motorcycle. I attempted to contact the PSP Warren to advise them to be on the lookout for the bike.”

The officer checked with Warren County Adult Probation because the officer knew Gray was on bail supervision and supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor. Probation officials told the officer that the GPS monitor showed Gray on Railroad Street, then HIllside Drive, Rouse Avenue and National Forge Road during the time Gray reportedly fled from the officer. The GPS was used to track Gray, who was contacted by the State Police at Warren at an address on Griff Hill Road in Clarendon, where the State Police reportedly found the motorcycle behind a shed with its license plate removed.

According to the affidavit, Gray’s girlfriend told officers she and Gray had been on the motorcycle in Youngsville, while Gray initially denied involvement, “but then admitted that he did flee from this officer because of his ignition interlock required license. The defendant admitted that the license plate on the bike was for another bike and knew that this officer was going to catch him because of his ankle monitor.”

Gray had been charged in July 2025 with six felony charges related to the alleged 2022 rape of a child who was 2 years old at the time. Charges include rape of a child, statutory sexual assault: 11 years older and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, all class 1 felon charges. He is also charged with incest of a minor – complainant under 13 years of age, a class 2 felony, corrupton of minors – defendant age 18 or above, a class 3 felony, and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, a class 3 felony. All of the charges are currently proceeding to court. A hearing will be held April 17 in front of Judge Todd Woodin in the Court of Common Pleas with a trial scheduled for April 27.

Bail was set at $50,000 when Gray was initially charged and later posted, though Gray is required to report to probation as a condition of his release. Gray’s attorney filed motions in October asking Judge Gregory Hamond to rescind his bail supervision, though that motion was rescinded in November.
