Alyce Busch

Alyce Busch of Forest County joined the Board of Trustees at Northern Pennsylvania Regional College in March at the Board of Trustees meeting held in Emporium. Her experience and knowledge in business, criminal justice, and government make her a great addition to NPRC.

Busch currently serves as the District Attorney of Forest County, an Assistant District Attorney for Warren County, and as the Owner/Member of Alyce M. Busch, Esquire PLLC. Ms. Busch is a resident of Tionesta and a former resident of Warren. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Clarion University and completed her Juris Doctor at Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Her current community and volunteer service work includes serving on the Forest County Criminal Justice Advisory Board, the Warren-Forest Bar Association, and the Forest County Multi-Disciplinary and Investigative Teams. She also previously served on Clarion University of Pennsylvania’s Paralegal Studies Advisory Board as chair and interim director/instructor of the Paralegal Studies Program; the Forest County Children’s Round Table; the Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs/Mental Health/Intellectual Disability Board for Forest and Warren Counties; the Tionesta Community Association as a past president; the Tionesta Sports and Recreation Board; and the Warren County Children’s Round Table.

When asked about joining NPRC’s Board of Trustees, Busch shared, “I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Board of Trustees for Northern Pennsylvania Regional College. As a former educator and lifelong resident of this region, I have seen firsthand the need for accessible and affordable post-secondary education. I am looking forward to the opportunity to provide a voice for our local communities, while ensuring that NPRC continues to be a vital resource for students and employers alike.”

Chairperson for the Board of Trustees, Jamie Evens, shared what Busch brings to the NPRC community. He stated, “The NPRC Board of Trustees is thrilled to welcome Alyce. She brings long-standing connections and a proven record of community-first leadership, which builds on our goal of representation from each of the 10 counties in our primary service area. Her experience, skills, and knowledge will be beneficial to both the board and administration as we move the College forward into the next stage of our strategic plan.”
