Philharmonic will host “Spring Awakening” concert Sunday

The philharmonic’s “Spring Awakening” concert will be on Sunday, March 15, at 4 p.m. at the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 11 Russell St., Warren.
Jerod Eggleston, baritone soloist, will make his debut performance with the Warren Philharmonic by performing several selections with a few that highlight St. Patrick’s Day.
Eggleson, a Warren native has been active in opera and theater; a performer with the Delaware Valley Opera Company and has appeared in multiple roles with the St. Petersburg Opera Company. In addition to his classical performances, Eggleston also performs classic rock and country music throughout the tri-state area.
Tickets will be for sale at the door at 3:15 p.m. on the day of the event with the concert start time of 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 students and free for children ages 11 and under. The performance will be streamed live on YouTube or by link through the Warren Philharmonic of Warren PA Facebook page.
The performance is sponsored by the Barbara Baldwin DeFrees Foundation, Community Foundation of Warren County, Conarro Family Foundation, Libonati Fund and Bets Foundation.
The orchestra also has two more upcoming performances this season. A Mother’s Day concert on May 10 will feature Aaron and Boaz Mecham on violin. An outdoor concert celebrating America’s 250th birthday this year will take place on June 25.
