Officials announced Friday that significant increases in water outflow from Kinzua Dam were planned for through Tuesday due to high levels along the Allegheny River.

The dam was releasing 12,700 cubic feet of water every second (CFS) into the river, officials said.

Boaters, anglers and others who use the river are urged to exercise caution and remain alert to changing conditions.
