Affidavit details rape allegations

Charges filed against a Warren man that include first-degree rape stemmed from four alleged incidents at a Pleasant Township residence.

The State Police at Warren filed a criminal complaint Monday charging William H. Wilcox III, 34, of Warren with 11 felony charges related to incidents that allegedly took place Aug. 1, 2025, in Pleasant Township, according to online court docket information.

Felony charges against Wilcox include first-degree felony rape/forcible compulsion, first-degree felony statutory sexual assault – 11 years older, second-degree felony sexual assault, two counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault without consent, second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – forcible compulsion, two counts of second-degree felony aggravated indecent assault – complainant less than 16, and three counts of third-degree felony corruption of minors – defendant age 16 or above. Wilcox is also charged with misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors, two counts of indecent assault forcible compulsion, two counts of indecent assault without consent of other and three counts of indecent assault – person less than 16 years of age.

Wilcox was taken to the Warren County Jail on Wednesday, though a bail amount was not yet listed on the state court docket system’s website.

According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the girl was allegedly raped for the first time in August 2025, again on Halloween night in 2025, and allegedly a final time the night of the Warren Christmas Parade on Dec. 5. The investigation began in January 2026 when the girl’s mother told the State Police at Warren that her daughter had allegedly been sexually assaulted. A forensic interview took place Jan. 29 at the Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center. Wilcox also allegedly pressured the girl to smoke marijuana prior to one of the incidents, according to the affidavit.

“Based on the facts and circumstances stated above, I respectfully request a warrant be issued for the defendant’s arrest,” the affidavit states.
