Trials scheduled in Court of Common Pleas

Three cases have been scheduled for trial in the Court of Common Pleas, including charges against a man accused of rape.

A trial has been scheduled for April 27 in front of Judge Todd Woodin in Commonwealth v. Dillon Gray. Gray, 33, was charged in February 2025 with rape of a child, statutory sexual assault: 11 years older and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, all class 1 felony charges. He is also charged with incest of a minor – complainant under 13 years of age, a class 2 felony, corrupton of minors – defendant age 18 or above, a class 3 felony, and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, a class 3 felony.

All of those charges have proceeded to court.

According to the criminal court docket, the incident allegedly took place Dec. 30, 2022, in Glade Township. On Sept. 30, 2024, a forensic interview was conducted at the Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center after State Police at Warren received a report of suspected child abuse from Warren County Children and Youth Services. The girl, according to an affidavit of probable cause, reported that Gray had “hurt her.” The affidavit detailed behavior that allegedly took place between Gray and the 2-year-old in “his tree house” where there were toys for her to play with. The girl said the activity took place more than once.

A May 5 jury trial has been scheduled in the case of a Falconer, N.Y., man who withdrew a prior guilty plea to a charge of providing a false statement. Brent R. Frary, 42, was charged in December 2024 with third-degree felony materially false written statement – purchase, delivery, transfer of firearm and misdemeanor making a statement under penalty. After a series of continuances in the Court of Common Pleas, Frary had pleaded guilty to the felony charge while the misdemeanor charge was not prosecuted.

Frary was to be sentenced on Nov. 14 by Judge Gregory Hammond in the Court of Common Pleas, but the Warren County Public Defender’s Office made a motion to withdraw the guilty plea, which Hammond then granted. The trial will be held in front of Judge Woodin.

A jury trial has also been scheduled for March 17 in front of Judge Gregory Hammond to hear charges against a Youngsville man. Kyle J. Riker of Youngsville was charged with strangulation – applying pressure to throat or neck, a second-degree felony, and harassment Aug. 6, 2025, by the State Police at Warren after an alleged incident Aug. 6 in Glade Township.
