County man faces three new felony charges

A Warren County resident faces three new felony charges filed by the State Police at Warren and Warren city police officers.

Tyler M. Engle, 33, of Youngsville was charged Wednesday with third-degree felony failure to verify address/be photographed by the State Police at Warren. If Engle is convicted he could be sentenced to up to 7 years in prison and a maximum fine of $15,000.

On a separate docket, Engle was charged with second-degree felony possession of controlled substances/contraband by an inmate and felony manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver by Warren City police officers.

Both charges date back to alleged offenses in December, according to online court docket information.

Engle was charged in 2025 with failure to verify address/be photographed. He was released after posting $25,000 bail and was also charged in 2023 in Erie County with failure to verify address/be photographed, according to online court docket information. Those cases are listed as closed on online court dockets

In January, Engle was granted an order to postpone sentencing after he pleaded guilty earlier to a charge of theft by unlawful taking – movable property.

The failure to verify address charges all stem from a 2016 guilty plea to a charge of sexual exploitation of children in federal court. Police had allegedly found cameras containing 57 images of underage girls. He was later sentenced to 35 months in prison and to register as a Tier 1 offender which requires a 10-year sex offender registration period under Megan’s Law. That period began on May 26, 2016, which would mean it doesn’t end until May 2026.

Starting at $3.50/week.
